One&Only Nyungwe House has 19 guest rooms and three two-bedroom Forest Suites. The luxury guest rooms and suites are modern in design, yet with traditional Rwandan influences, each overlooking the vast African terrain with private decks and in-room log-burners.
This room category has been redesigned to include a draped four-poster King sized bed. The private deck has been designed using modern furniture made from copper and finished with straw detail. The spacious en-suite bathroom remains the same featuring twin vanities, and indulgent stand-alone bath. Another detail that has been added is the sliding door between room and bathroom has been covered with an African print material. Reason being is so that for guests booked in the twin rooms they can use the bathroom with privacy, not being able to see through the sliding door, while using the bathroom. The lounge has been interior designed to include local artworks from two Rwanda artists named Emmanuel Nkuranga and Tutu Semutwa who are from Inema Art Center. The chandeliers in the suites have been strategically selected to bring in the theme of nature. One chandelier is a group of leaves which speaks to the forest lodge theme. 1,410 square feet.
